Hip Hop Coach
Hip Hop Coach Melissa has been dancing for over 20 years and trained in various styles over the course of her dance career. Having been accepted into the Australian Ballet School in her younger years, she had continued to train and study a Bachelor of Creative Arts, Dance and Drama, at Deakin University. She has both trained and competed for multiple AASCF schools and qualified multiple teams for the world’s stage.
Her extensive knowledge across various genres comes from training with Chris Brown’s backup dancers, as well as stars from Hollywood Hip Hop films such as “STEP UP” and “YOU GOT SERVED”. Continuing her style versatility, she has 5 undefeated national gold aerobics titles from her high-school years. She also carries her passion across to other performing art avenues, including singing and song-writing. In 2019, Melissa was the opening support act for international R’N’B artist “Jacquees” and continues to make music that is popular with an international audience.
It is Melissa’s mission to pass her knowledge and passion for dance to the younger generations, as well as any other people she may come across. Her life motto “Aspire to Inspire” is carried across in her charismatic attitude that lights up the room. She cannot wait to continue her growth and success’ with the students at Royal All Stars Cheer & Dance in 2021!
